IT'S GOOD TO KNOW WHAT RIGHT-WINGERS ARE THINKING, BUT WE DON'T NEED TO
TALK TO THEM

Cute!
Why thankie!! I wish I could take credit for it, but it was just one of many neat finds...
And welcome to my blog (One of two... Most of the objectionable political stuff is on the OTHER blog, Wingnuts &Moonbats
I saw Griper's replies, including the one where he says something about being sorry he allowed the comments there to veer off topic. Personally, I think we're (all three of us) having a most illuminating conversation. And, I'm a tad nervous that Griper's going to pull the plug prematurely because he wants to move on.
(He's done that once or twice before... Right smack in the middle of the discussion, he announces "last post," like we're at a bar & closing time is 15 minutes away. He's even done it on MY blog...)
Anyway... Just in case he does that, I want you to know that I'm most interested in continuing the discussion with you, and would be glad to set up a post on one of my blogs to continue talking with you about religion & marriage, should Griper end the conversation there before we're done having our say.
While we may well end up having to agree to disagree, you seem able to do so reasonably, and without rancor. And I really am learning a great deal, both about your position on the subject and about mine. (There is no better way to learn about one's own mind & heart than to defend one's positions.) I hope you feel the same way.
So, if Griper shuts us down, the offer's open... Come on by...
Wherever we do so, I hope to continue the discussion...
I was just passing through and saying hi. I'll check out your other blog later.
I left another comment on Griper's blog as well and I think you should try and finish your thoughts with at least one more comment.
Griper gets this thing that I've started calling Scrolling Fatigue. When a comment thread gets too long, he says that he gets tired scrolling down to the bottom of the page and wants to move on to something else. Just as you have suggested, I too have been known to start entirely new blog posts just for the sake of continuing an interesting conversation, so I'm not really that worried about whatever Griper decides to do.
Thanks for the offer of continued conversation and in doing so also friendship. I'll gladly oblige.
